Easy Blueberry Danish

This easy blueberry danish is made using frozen puff pastry, so it super easy to make. It has a cream cheese filling with a blueberry preserve filing.

STEP 1: Blueberry preserves. In a medium saucepan, heat 1 cup of blueberries, sugar, and water for 3-5 minutes until thickened. 

STEP 2: Store in a glass container. Mix in 1/2 cup of blueberries. Cool completely. Thaw pastry dough. 

STEP 3: Cream cheese filling. Beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla on high for 2 minutes until creamy.

STEP 4: Roll out dough on lightly floured surface. Cut into 6 even rectangles. Make a shallow indent near the edge of each rectangle with a knife. 

STEP 5: Spread cream cheese filling and preserves on each inner rectangle. 

STEP 6: Freeze for 10 minutes and brush with egg wash. Bake 14-17 minutes.

STEP 7: Vanilla glaze. Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla in a small bowl. Pour over danishes.
