Blueberry Jam Cake

This blueberry jam cake is vanilla cake filled with cream cheese frosting and a homemade blueberry jam. The cake is moist and it has a delicious berries and cream flavor.

STEP 1: Sift flour, cornstarch, baking powder, baking soda, and salt into a bowl.

STEP 2: Beat butter, oil, and sugar together. Add sour cream, vanilla, and eggs.

STEP 3: Mix half of the dry ingredients and half of the buttermilk in. Then mix in the remainder.

STEP 4: Bake the cakes for 21-24 minutes at 350°F.

STEP 5: Cook the blueberries in a saucepan with sugar. Once it thickens pour it in a glass cup.

STEP 6: Beat butter and cream cheese. Mix in half of the powdered sugar at a time. Add vanilla.

STEP 7: Place the cake, then frosting, and jam. When you get to the top layer frost the whole cake and add blueberries.
