Chocolate Blueberry Cake

This layered blueberry chocolate cake is a three layer moist chocolate cake with blueberry lemon frosting! The cake layers are incredibly moist and can be made in one bowl.

STEP 1: Mix dry ingredients together. Add in buttermilk, eggs, oil, vanilla, and hot water.

STEP 2: Mix until just combined. It will be a runny batter.

STEP 3: Bake for 28-34 minutes.

STEP 4: Heat blueberries and lemon juice. Puree until smooth.

STEP 5: Beat the butter for 2 minutes. Add in powdered sugar and lemon zest. Add in blueberry puree, salt, vanilla, and heavy cream.

STEP 6: Fill the cakes using 1 cup of frosting per layer. Can be decorated in a semi-naked look or fully frosted.

STEP 7: Top with chocolate drip and berries.
