Chocolate Mousse Cake

This decadent chocolate dessert has a layer of moist chocolate cake with a layer of chocolate mousse and a chocolate whipped cream topping.

STEP 1: Mix the flour, cornstarch, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cocoa powder.

STEP 2: Mix the oil, sugar, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla, vinegar, buttermilk, and sour cream in a separate bowl. Add the hot water slowly.

STEP 3: Mix the wet and dry ingredients together. Pour it in a springform pan and bake at 350° for 33-36 minutes.

STEP 4: Beat the pudding mix and milk for 2 minutes. 

STEP 5: Beat heavy cream, cocoa powder, and vanilla until it has stiff peaks. Fold it into the pudding.

STEP 6: Cut any uneven layers off the cake. Place it back in the pan and spread the mousse on top.

STEP 7: Whip more heavy cream, cocoa powder, and vanilla until it has medium peaks. Spread it over the chilled cake.
