Chocolate Raspberry Cake

This chocolate raspberry cake is a moist three layer chocolate cake. It is full of raspberry frosting that has both reduced raspberry puree and ground freeze dried raspberries.

STEP 1: Combine dry ingredients. 

STEP 2: Mix the wet ingredients. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients. 

STEP 3: Pour the batter evenly between 3 prepared pans. Bake for 25-28 minutes.

STEP 4: Frosting. Make the raspberry puree and cool completely. Combine dry and wet ingredients. Add puree. 

STEP 5: Place the first cake layer down and frost with 1 cup of frosting. Repeat with 2nd layer. 

STEP 6: Frost the last layer with a thin crumb coat and freeze 15 minutes. Frost the rest of the cake. 

STEP 7: Make and pour chocolate ganache over the cake. Top with fresh raspberries.
