Cookie Dough Ice Cream Cake

This cookie dough ice cream cake is a perfect cake to make for birthday parties! This is a two layer chocolate cake full of soft edible cookie dough and cookie dough ice cream.

STEP 1: In a large bowl, mix the wet ingredients. Combine with the dry ingredients. 

STEP 2: Pour the batter into 2 8-inch pans. Bake for 18-20 minutes. Cool.  

STEP 3: Ice Cream. Soften ice cream. Spread in a lined 8-inch cake pan. Freeze overnight.  

STEP 4: Edible Cookie Dough. Cook the flour. Beat the wet ingredients. Add the dry ingredients. 

STEP 5: Roll 2/3 of the dough into a disk and cut into bite-sized pieces. For the remaining 1/3, roll into balls for decoration. 

STEP 6: Prepare the gelatin and heat. Mix in the whipped heavy cream. Add vanilla and fold in chopped chocolate. 

STEP 7: Assemble the cake layers and decorate.
