Cookie Dough Layered Cake

This cookie dough cake is a layered vanilla cake with edible cookie dough baked in. It is filled with chocolate cream cheese frosting and more cookie dough.

STEP 1: Heat treat flour, then sift it with salt in a bowl. Beat butter, sugar, and brown sugar together. Add vanilla and milk. Mix in the flour and chocolate chips.

STEP 2: Scoop 15 cookie dough balls and flatten them. Place them in the freezer.

STEP 3: Sift flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt together. Beat butter, oil, and sugar together.

STEP 4: Add sour cream and vanilla to the butter. Then add eggs and finish with the dry ingredients and buttermilk.

STEP 5: Pour the batter in into cake pans. Place the cookie dough discs on top.

STEP 6: Bake the cakes at 350°F for 25-30 minutes.

STEP 7: Place cake layers, and frost them with the chocolate frosting and extra edible cookie dough. Top with chocolate ganache and more cookie dough.
