Espresso Chocolate Chip Cookies

These espresso chocolate chip cookies are chewy cookies with crisp edges. They have brown butter espresso. They have a light coffee flavor mixed with the chocolate chips.

Brown butter. Melt the butter in a frying pan. Heat until the milk deposits separate and turn amber in color. Mix in the espresso powder.

Mix espresso brown butter with brown sugar, sugar, vanilla, eggs, and egg yolks.

Add in the flour, baking soda, baking powder, espresso powder, and salt. Mix in chocolate chips.

Use a 3oz cookie scoop to scoop the dough into large dough balls.
