Fresh Apple Cider Muffins

These apple cider muffins are perfect if you want apple cider donuts, but with no donut pan. These are super soft apple cider muffins topped with apple cider butter and cinnamon sugar.

STEP 1: Mix together flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

STEP 2: Whisk together oil, apple cider, brown sugar, white sugar, apple sauce, vanilla extract, eggs, buttermilk, and sour cream.

STEP 3: Combine the wet and dry ingredients.

STEP 4: Scoop the batter into muffin liners. Use only alternating cups in a 12 cup muffin pan.

STEP 5: Bake the muffins at 425°F for 8 minutes. Reduce to 350°F and bake 6-8 more minutes.

STEP 6: Melt butter and mix in apple cider. Mix sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg in another bowl.

STEP 7: Dip the top of each muffin in the butter mixture, then dip them in the cinnamon sugar to coat them
