Gingerbread Cookie Cinnamon Rolls

These gingerbread cinnamon rolls have a super soft gingerbread dough. It is filled with  gingerbread cinnamon filling and topped with brown butter cream cheese icing.

STEP 1: Mix the dry ingredients. Cut the butter into the flour mixture. 

STEP 2: Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients. 

STEP 3: Knead dough for 5 minutes. Let dough rise for 1 hour. 

STEP 4: Filling. Beat unsalted sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, ginger and molasses. 

STEP 5: Roll the dough into a rectangle. Spread the filling over the dough. 

STEP 6: Roll the dough into a log. Cut the roll into 12 pieces and place in prepared pan. Rise for 20 minutes. 

STEP 7: Bake for 23-27 minutes. Top with brown butter icing.
