Mini Layered Cake

This mini layered cake is the perfect cake for a birthday party. It is a moist funfetti layered cake baked in three 6 inch cake pans.

STEP 1: Beat the oil, butter, and sugar. Add remaining wet ingredients. 

STEP 2: Alternate adding dry ingredients and buttermilk until combined. Add sprinkles. 

STEP 3: Pour batter into prepared cake pans and bake for 23-25 minutes. 

STEP 4: Frosting. Beat the butter and cream cheese. Add dry ingredients then add wet ingredients.  

STEP 5: Spread 3/4 cup of frosting on top of the first layer. Top with the 2nd cake layer. Repeat. 

STEP 6: Apply a light layer of frosting to the whole cake. Freeze for 15 minutes. 

STEP 7: Frost the rest of the cake. Top with sprinkles.
