Oreo Frosting

This Oreo frosting is very creamy and tastes like Oreo cream filling! It uses cream cheese and Oreo crumbs.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Unsalted butter room temperature
  • 8 oz Cream cheese room temperature
  • 2 1/2 cups Powdered sugar sifted
  • 1 tsp Pure vanilla extract
  • 5 Oreos grounded to a fine crumb

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, sift the powdered sugar. Using a food processor, blend the Oreos into a fine crumb. Set aside.

  • Using a mixer, beat the butter on high speed for 2 minutes. It will be pale and fluffy. Add in the cream cheese on high speed for 1 minutes. Scrape the bowl. Make sugar butter and cream cheese are the same temperature. If one is too cold, it will split.
    1 cup Unsalted butter, 8 oz Cream cheese
  • Add in half of the powdered sugar and mix on low until just combined. Add the rest of the powdered sugar and mix on low.
  • Next, add in vanilla and Oreo crumbs. Mix on high speed until creamy.
    1 tsp Pure vanilla extract
