Snowman Cookies
These snowman cookies are a gingerbread Christmas cookie, topped with a peanut butter cup or Oreo, melted white chocolate and snowman sprinkles. They look like melted snowmen!

These snowman cookies are the perfect treat for your holiday season! They are fun cookies that are simple to make and will be a favorite recipe for your whole family. The best part is they use simple ingredients you can find in the baking aisle of your local grocery store! You will love these melted snowmen cookies!

Tips for making the cookies
Here are my tips, so yours turns out like this recipe!
- Tip 1: Make sure the flour is spooned and leveled. If you stick the measuring cup into the flour, it can cause it to become compacted. That results in a cookie that won’t spread.
- Tip 2: This is a no chill cookie dough recipe, the baking powder in the recipe helps with spread. Another tip is make sure the cookie dough rest for 10 minutes before scooping. This helps the gluten activate before scooping.
- Tip 3: Once they are cool, add the peanut butter cup or Oreo on top of the cookie. Once you add the melted white chocolate, that will help keep it in place. Add 1 Tablespoon of melted white chocolate on top of the peanut butter cup, then you want to rotate the cookie with your hands to make it cascade down and around the cookie. I used these for the eyes and this for the carrots.

- 16 Reese's peanut butter cups or Oreos, regular size
- 8 oz White chocolate bars, melted. I used Lindt white chocolate bars
- Snowman sprinkle pack.

- Add in the dry ingredients and use a rubber spatula to mix until just combined.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line 2 cookie sheets with parchment paper. Let cookie dough sit while the oven preheats. This helps with spreading.

- Bake for 13-15 minutes until the edges are lightly golden.
- Let it sit for 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack. Cool the cookies completely before decorating.
- Place the white chocolate bars into a microwave safe and start by heating in the microwave for 30 seconds. Stir. Then, heat for 15 second intervals until the white chocolate is melted.8 oz White chocolate bars
- Place a peanut butter cup upside down on the center of each cookie. Use 1 TBSP and pour on white chocolate. Lightly shake the cookie so it melts down the peanut butter cup and on the top of the cookie. It needs to cover the peanut butter cup and then look more like a melted snowman.16 Reese's peanut butter cups or Oreos
- Top with eyes and a carrot. Then, let the white chocolate set slightly before serving.Snowman sprinkle pack.

I Tried to make these cookies but when I poured the white chocolate the Reeces peanut butter cup melted and the white chocolate got all brown from the melted cup. Any tips to stop this from happening?
These look so cute! Just one question…from the pics it looks like you rolled the cookies in some type of sugar before baking, but I don’tsee that part in the recipe. Did you use just regular white granulated sugar?
It is regular white sugar. I just added it now!
